Hi Altitude is a small practice based in Rutland providing a wide range of accounting services
for individuals, self-employed and Limited companies.
Founded in 2020 by Jay (FMAAT) who is a fully qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, has an advanced diploma in finance and business with ACCA and has over 20 years experience in accounting.
We are really passionate to help make things easier for our clients.
We promise a jargon-free, personal and confidential service at all times, here to guide you through your finances.
We're based just 4 miles from Oakham and 11 miles from Stamford in the lovely village of Cottesmore, Rutland.
Our first consultations will consist of getting to know you and your goals and use that as a focus to put together a service tailored to your individual needs.
There are full support packages that can be put together for you or if you just require some adhoc support, we can charge hourly fees to keep things flexible.
We work with cloud software to bring you simple to understand, up to date information at your fingertips. With experience in Sage, Xero, Nomi, Quickbooks
and Free Agent, you can be assured that whatever you're using, we are pro's with many accounting software brands and can help you choose what is right for you and your business. We can also help you to choose and train you and your saff to use it if you're not familiar.

When the business was founded, the thought process for a name that really meant something was important to Jay.
The word "Altitude" kept coming up. Meaning of course, high up places! As well as being a big fan of the icy mountains and snowboarding, high up places is where we want all our clients to go and stay.
"Hi" ...is just another word for "High"... obviously!
But ultimately the goal is to say "Hi!" to new places at better heights in our financial worlds!
Our slogan is therefore - Reach New Heights!
Within the logo you'll also see what looks like a graph with a mountain peak. Jay once worked for a company called Mountain Software Ltd, which she loved (now part of the giant IRIS software group) and puts the Finance Manager, Sam there as one of her biggest sources of encouragement early in her career when she was raising baby no 1, with baby no 2 on the way and finding being a working Mother along with studying a bit of a challenge.
The graph symbolises her background in industry accounting and passion for management accounting and forecasting.
So yeah...we love it!
Our Vision
We want to help businesses become more efficient by helping them take advantage of the best the accounting solutions available and reach new heights in their business.
We will always keep up to date with professional development and cloud technologies.
By 2025 we aim to have a growing team and possibly an apprentice.
